Interesting, however that person probably didn't fully understand islam either. I want to start studying islam soon.

Well I think it's that he did not want to understand it, but what's somewhat interesting is the fact that even though raised to be that religion, for him there was something missing and he was in search of God.

yeah, and I've heard the same from people born christian but searched for allah.
