why was my censorship thread deleted?
and why have i been given a warning for questioning the 'lets treat everyone like kids and censorship all swear words' decision?
will i receive another warning for this too?
i'm only saying what i think which is what i thought a forum was all about.

This is the only forum I have ever been a member of, so I can't say I know what forums are all about. But wouldn't whoever runs a forum have the right to run that forum in whatever way he or she wishes to run that forum? I mean, that's why there are many different forums for people to post on, right? Forums aren't all the same, are they? I'm serious, I really don't know.

yeh maybe ur right therefore this isn't the forum for me. When i first joined censorship wasn't a issue. I like everyone here so it would be a shame to leave but af has gone too trivial.

I don't have a problem with the censorship here.. it's not Nazism or anything.. Personally I could do with or without it.. My personal opinon (while I too cuss my head off) is that there ARE more eloquent (not to mention less abrasive) ways to make your opinion known . God knows most people don't use them in everyday conversation. I try to atleast have a little taste when I'm typing.

all kidding aside. is it that big of a deal?.. ... use your imagination.. get a dictionary.. learn somthing. If they want to remove the censor I'll have no problem. If they don't that's fine by me too.

Are you saying that the simple rules are too much for you to handle or do you just not want to handle them? The AF wants to be a place for everyone, not just adults. You can still discuss anything, just word it differently; something that is necissary for success in everyday life.

I understand sweetness being warned, she was bypassing the filter, and that is against the rules, but I do agree in so far as the deleting of the censorship thread. I do not own or run this forum, so I can be wrong, but I think that kind of censorship is a bit contrary to the spirit of AF.
