I could not find an article stating so but it looks like the NHL season won't happen. Imagine how many this will affect, from sports stations to arena workers. I think lot of jobs will be lost that's for sure.

I guess all the news stations are concentrating on huricanes (not the team :P) since I can hardly find stuff related to the NHL crissis and it's a pretty big thing, especially for hardcore hockey fans... not that I am one, I just slightly follow hockey. :D

Yeah, I think no one is covering it cause it's not a sure thing yet, but it does look pretty likely. Pretty disappointing for me anyway, I live about 2 miles from where the Wild play (the Xcel Center). Guess I won't be attending any games this winter. :(

Oh and I think you might have meant to say "The puck stops here." Right?

i heard about it a couple of days ago, it's just not a very big thing, esp here in the south where I am located. Between presidential elections and hurricanes, hockey has been put on the back burner. Too bad, hockey can't take too much more of a back seat here in America, it lost a lot of airtime last year, this could really hurt.

Yeah forgot about the elections, that's the other big thing, and basically that and huricanes that are featured on most news sites. Considering how big NHL is I think this will affect quite allot but no one just realizes it yet. Somehow gas prices will go up because of that. They always find excuses for that. :P
