Please note that there have been reports of hotmail bouncing invites, and yahoo filtering them as bulk mail if you have one of those addresses.

If you don't know what gmail is, it's a free webbased email service offered by google. Check out a review.

I am use 2 accounts. 1 for forums/general internet stuff and the other for proper e mails. I think I have a few more accounts with differant people around too.

I got both my gmail accounts on the same day, that's why. :þ

A couple of my friends both had invites and I asked them both because I didn't know which would send...and I got two.

I've used it a couple of times to send large files... ...but not for general email usage right now.

Who knows what they'll change after the beta period is over? So why switch to it completely? (rhetorical questions, btw)

They may not keep it free (especially for that large amount of space...that might be for a "paid version" or something), they may change the size regardless of paid/unpaid version, they may change the format to something you end up not liking...anything they want, really.

And if you've already completely migrated to it and end up thinking it sucks...now you've got to tell everyone you're back at the old email address.

I'll wait for the beta period to be over with first, thanks.
