For example stasi might like to share with us his addiction for all things fallic - but i guess we already know that!

I'll start with a nice one as i like to boast..

i've got a first class degree in fine art AND last weekend i ran 10 miles (up and down snowdon - highest mountain in wales)
i'm now recovering with a big bifta! :P

Well, some of you might have seen them if you've looked at the pics thread recently, but the rest of you might not know that I used to play in a band and we once opened up for Fastball and also once for Semisonic.

Ha! Well that figures. You know, we are probably more alike than we think. Ever notice how people like us don't get along with people like us! And you played with Fastball, they are from here :P (I have often had practices in locations they had praticed in, and once right beside the meat puppets.)

Anyway back to the question: "tell us something about yourselves that we probably wouldn't know....

I don't think there is much to tell that I haven't offered freely. I'm in Halix and we play around Texas. I technically consider myself a composer, that's what I enjoy out of life. I also really enjoy mixing music (recording... not so much). I'm also into politics, specifically government. I've spent a lot of time studying our constitution and the role of government in our lives. I spent 2 1/2 years studying economics, what I thought I was going to do for a living for a while. I'm also a history and space buff and have a working model of our solar system and it's surrounding area for about 27 light-years... I can't think of anything else that might interest anyone. I'd like to do a lot of traveling abroad at some point.

Do we not get along? I've always found your posts to be the most agreeable for me. I bet we'd get along just fine in real life! ImageImage

and Semisonic is from here!

I would have rather opened for the Meat Puppets! :D

Hmm, kinda scary how much we may be alike. I spent four years studying law for my undergrad (Legal Studies major) and also majored in Philosophy (little space and history connection ^_^ ) and I currently work for a law firm based out of Texas. (offices in Dallas, Austin and Houston)

I'm a baseball freak. Not only do I play but I love match ups, stats, and reading about it. I also like to debate it and talk about it. And I am getting into sabermetrics, the mathematical analysis of baseball.

That is crazy! I'd like to major in philosophy at some point, there is so much I don't know, it's almost historical. What do you do at the law firm?

I got a 99% average in a few computer classes, but they were easy. Autocad was pretty easy too. I don't get why the class average was like 61%. The only reason I did not get 100% is because it's not allowed by the school board system thingy. But I think the real reason is because their program can't support 3 digit numbers. :P

I suck at math too! Well it's not like I need it in my industry. As long as I can pass it to finish education and actually get to my industry. Meanwhile I run a business. Experience is what makes you good in what you are, not education.

Somewhat true I guess, but everything I learned was on my own.

I call it trial and error, that's especially how I learned about electrical. Not sure if it's a good way to learn potentially dangeraus stuff though. :D

Trial: "hmm I wonder if this shock will hurt"
error: "better call the funeral home to make a reservation"
