I got back from vacation today and wanted to share these pics.
I stopped at my grandmothers house and we found this baby squirrel on the ground and his dead mother next to him, so we took the baby, named him rocky and took care of him for the week we fed him milk through a dripper and then before we left we brought him to some animal society thing where they will raise him and then release him to the wild. It was an amazing experience and now i have a new feeling toward squirrels.

Cute little fella.

You did the right thing and it was nice of you. Did you know what happened to the mother and was there any other babies around? I remember one year at our other camp we had a mother squirrel that kept coming to see us for food for the kids. Then the year after we saw the kids too.
