(because i'm cheep) I'm stuck... so what I'm asking is can someone help me find a network analyzer that makes charts and graphs and calculate bandwidth in and out.

Thanks guys  ^_^

One I use is analogX's packet mon. Do a search for it, it's free and works well. I never got the filters to work though...

I suggest:

- Snort (Network Intrusion Detection System)
- Nessus (Remote security scanner)

are the tools I use to check and verify networks, the run on Linux. Nessus clients are available for win32 too

other useful tools are:

- Net peeker
- Ethereal

hope this helps

bye
