my girlfriend's brother is really overprotective. he hates me. just because i love his sister. so now he says that when i come over he's gonna kill me(she lives in south carolina). he is really big. he's like 4 years older than me and much stronger. but i love his sister. i'd die for her. i want to take him on. but i am not strong enough. i will go to the gym and work out. so i can kick is a$$ in case he tries to fight me. is any of this a good idea?

Uh, I think attempting to take him on, even if you were successfull, would just hurt your relationship.

No, beating up the brother probably wouldn’t help. However, strengthen those muscles while you still have some really good motivation.

Do you think he hates you because you are dating his sister or because you are simply you? Has he done this with her past boyfriends? I figured he was just doing this because he didn’t want to see his sister get hurt… If that’s the case, maybe he will stop if he knows that what his sister really, really wants.

That doesn’t mean he will hate you any less though. Hopefully that would come with time.

Just build one of these.

Perfect for self defence. Usually you plug these in but if you have a 12v battery and an inverter it will work too.

i'm not sure if there's anything you can do. whooping her brothers hiney, while self gratifying, would probably damage your relationship even more. but that being said, maybe he's testing you to see if you'll put up with the bullpuckey. either way, if you really, really love this girl, keep seeing here... in front of her brother. if he tries to put a beat down on you, then and only then, kick his tush in self defense... preferably in front of other adults.

okay that works. but she lives in south carolina, so i dont see her very often. i met her on a cruise ship. no not on the internet. that would be stupid.

Sounds like the best solution to me. Meanwhile just train and do lot of weights etc... and maybe even take some karate lessons or something. Especially if he's 4 years older then you.

I found this awesome gardning tool at my school in the janitor closet. Maybe I can ship it to you or you can try to find one. It's a long stick with a roller with discs, and the discs have spikes that interlock into each other as they turn. A must have in any self defence situation.

. But eventually he might, so until then work out. Not too much weights because it could hurt your joints if you are young. I would guess your about 12 so wait until your 15 or 16 then you can go all out. So do some cardio with abs every other day. And another thing if you do fight this kid in the future do not say HEY I'm gonna kick your hiney.

Or he might just be saying this to see if your a pussy, to see if you will back down. And really have no intention of actually fighting you.

I still find a tesla coil is a better solution. Freak him right out, and use HIS home's power, that way HE will be stuck paying the electric bill for you zapping him with a few million volts. somehow you'll have to make it portable, and strong though.

A tesla coil is simple but yet complicated. The design is simple, but getting the stuff to make it is a chore and a half. You can't just go to walmart and find a 1:1000000 transformer in the hardware department.

But google for some plans and maybe you can find the stuff and build yourself one. But be aware they ARE dangeraus! When testing you'll want to like do it outside or something and have a grounded pole near it, while you're far from it, so the lightning will go there.
