Nope,
although the government here doesn't like it, cause imported goods have much lower prices, which screws over the companies here and helps the consumers out (which is BAD!!!!!!!!!!!)
Canada knows this, with the whole meat and lumber industry fiascos.

Nope, since if I would, I'd have a limited shopping experience. Even freaken pencils are imported. I mean, Canada can't even make pencils, like comon! LOL Then if you look at like dishes and stuff like that and it comes from all these weird countries I never heard of.

I don't see anything wrong with imported goods. When we attacked Iraq my mother refused to buy a certain brand of yogurt because it was apparently French. I thought this was hilariously stupid and proceeded to make fun of her very loudly in the grocery store. She deserved it, for such a pointless boycott...

She'd have to boycott poutine too. OMG not sure how I would be able to handle that. Or even just normal fries... nope I know I could not.
Oh and china makes the crappyest pencils, USA makes better ones. Usually when I buy pencils I make sure they come from the US. I think I did see some canada ones before but those are rare. I guess lead is not really a big resource around here, gold is but not lead.

I don't give a crap about 'supporting the economy', cheaper stuff = competition and my job is safe, it's for an online AV store, which deals with imported crap anyway

The whole "Freedom Fries" instead of "French Fries" was really a pathetic effort to politicize a piece of food. I can't stand nationalists of any nation.
Personally, if there are two products, of equal or near-equal quality and/or aesthetic, then I will generally choose the American product. However, it will be a cold day in hell when I buy
just because it says "Made in the USA" as if seeing that stamped on a piece of garbage brings out any pride whatsoever. If a company is incompetent in a given industry or area of an industry, then why should they gain a customer they didn't earn?

Generally, I go off of features or overall value. However, if it came down to 2 products that were the same except where they were made, I would choose the American-made product.

They're building a big walmart not far from my house, well a bit further down then the current walmart which is already fairly big but part of the mall. All of those products are american (as far as I figure, since Walmart is american) but notheless Walmart is one of my favorite stores, besides Canadian Tire.

Walmart is one of your favorite stores and yet you think all the products they sell are American? That's simply amazing.

Yeah, I could not really care that much where they come from. If they're cheap and get the job done well I'm happy. And walmart has literally everything.
The only thing is that they also support lot of companies that do testing on animals... but I would not stop buying just because of that since it's not like it can change anything.

Well as long as I don't buy those particular products I think I'm safe.
But almost every product you go to buy these days has procter and gamble writtin on it somewhere, it's the monopoly of death.
