When you die, you go to Hell where demons tear strips of skin off you, chew your bones and cleave off limbs then cauterize you with lava.

When you die, Jesus dances on your grave, then pisses on your headstone, he bends over and kisses the ground, dances some more then goes back to his cave.

Ha! What a bunch of ignorant turds. When you die, your Thetan will visit Venus where it is lied to - that you'll easily get to come back to earth as a baby. Word to the wise - whatever you do, DON'T GO TO VENUS WHEN YOU DIE!

When you die, you got to hell or heaven. It's not based on good works, but based on wether or not you Belive in God and that he sent Jesus his only son to die for our sins. so if you believe that, and just pray and ask Jesus in your heart, then you'll go to heaven. And Hell is not what people think, it's not a server room with no A/C with only Windows servers, it's much worse then that.
Think being in a boiling oil bathub for ethernity, while the oil is on fire. Even that does not justify it.

A God who provides a spot in heaven only for his sycophants is an amoral, unjust God. That a person would not ultimately be held accountable for the good or bad acts in their life, but ONLY whether or not they believed, is a style of judgement of a God I want NOTHING to do with. In fact, Red, if that's the case, there may very well be more "good" people who go to hell than Heaven. It's like the whole belief that ONLY if you accept Jesus in this life will you go to heaven. That means all the people in the world, all the good people, who lived in such places, or to such an age where they didn't even have the opportunity to accept Jesus, are automatically damned to hell. The only God that would judge a person that way is an evil, unjust God.

I believe the counter-arguement is that only just people truely accept Jesus into their hearts and those who do bad things didn't truely accept him, therefore go to hell... how convienent
Anyway, I, like Tak, don't know, but I'll let you in on my most recent theory.
God is energy.
Energy is neither created or destroy, but transfered. We are all filled with the lord, energy is everywhere, and when we work together, we are able to utilize this energy more effeciently, wasting less energy that would be converted into heat or lost from us in some other way. The more people work together, the better it is for all of them, simple economics. This is 'good', while the concept of 'bad' would be the waste of energy and all things related to that. When you die, you become part of the universe again.

If we were held accountable for all our bad acts, we'd be going to hell. But God sent his only son to die and take our place. His physical pain was nothing compared to the spiritual pain suffered as he beared all our sins and shame. He rose the 3rd day.
But because of this, we are forgiven of all our sins, past present and future, and can make it in Heven. After all that, all God wants from us is that we believe. So to me, that's more then justice! We don't deserve to go to heaven but we can anyway.

Not really a religion but I'm Born Again Christian which is similar to baptist, pentacost etc... honestly I'm not sure the difference between the 3 but it's basically following God and not a man made set of rules (aka cult or religion).

Believe it or not Bush is a christian... but he does not show a really good example of one though... starting all these wars is not a spiritually healthy way of doing things.
But I guess he wanted to protect his Country too from the threats.

Red, it's people with views like yours that voted and wanted Bush in office here in America. If you had been an American, you'd have voted
Bush.

If I would of known what he would of did, no. I had my oportunity to vote for "bush" and I did not. I could have voted conservative.
Stephen Harper is a clone of Bush - he thinks exactly like him, and wanted to turn Canada into US. The only thing good about him was that he was against homo marriage, but other then that he was wacked like bush.

Why does it matter whether someone is a good or bad example of a Christian? I mean, you could be a serial killer, rapist-mutilator, but if you accept Jesus as the savior, you've got a place in Heaven right next to better people. So Red, why do you oppose gay marriages? There are lots of gay Christians, and if they accept Jesus, they go to heaven automatically. If it doesn't matter how one lives, then why do you care so much about what others do?

Sure you're safe, but as a christian, you want to show a good example. It's sort of like if you play for a hockey team, you're not going to go do something stupid, because you want to act well as a team. Sort of the same reason. You want to guide others to be christian so showing a good example is a key.

No worth arguing about life, but the best way to know where you go when you die, is to wait till it happends.
It's a 50/50 chance.
