Let's try something different. Basically we'll name off monsters from movies, games, tv, books, mythology, etc. anything big and nasty that tends to kill people. We'll just go down the alphabet, each monster monster starting with the next letter. For example, if we started with m, the first monster might be a mind flayer, the second, nosferatu, the third Omega Weapon, and so on. Try not to be too cheesy (ex. bob the vampire, chuck the vampire, dan the vampire, etc.) but we all draw blanks here and there, so it's ok every now and again.
We'll start at the begining with A:
