I'm sick of hearing about them too. Now they have damn multivitamins opimized for low-carb diets. People just want to believe there's a magic diet out there that doesn't require them to cut back on their excesses. In the case of the low-carb craze, people want to believe they can indulge in anything with low carbs and lose weight.
