I ordered my digital camera it should be here by the 2nd or 3rd I cant wait to take pictures with it I got a 1 GB 45X CF card for it I hope thats big enought.

Its a 6.3 Megapixel camera Red, I am doing my step sister wedding photos and I got til the 31th to be perfect with the thing.
I was looking at 8 Megapixel cameras but at ISO's over 100 in night shots the noise is nasty and makes the pictures look cheap.

Nice! I did not realize they were that high now. It makes my 3.1 crap.
Well actually mine is not all that great, the quality of the pictures themselves is not that good.
So yeah you want a pretty big card for a camera that big. I can only put 7 pictures on my 8 meg at full quality. Even for internet pictures I usually use the full quality since there's so much blur to my camera when I resize it, it looks like the pic was taken at the size as it hides the blur.

Ya that helps I have been wanting the digital rebel forever now! and its mine I got it for a killer deal at newegg with the CF card and case for it all. My next thing is a tripod and more memory cards, then a extra lens, I am thinking about getting an 80x card for lower lag between shots. Then my 45x card will be for backup or day to day shooting. Im not sure if you know but incase for a 1x card is a 150KB per sec. so the bigger the number the faster.
for the lens I got some research to do but I am thinking a 300mm zoom lens.

Man Newegg is a great site but a pain in the rear for the first time I have had to call them 3 time and get special permission so they could verify my address man what a pain in the ya and now I wait to hear from them.

Its taken me two week to get my camera from newegg and I had to use the BBB to do it but now at least its shipped and it will be here monday so I can use it tuesday! SO be looking for my first practice shots!
