Added some lights to the garage crawlspace so I don't need to drag a lamp in there when cleaning up spider webs. Some pics and details here:

like the way you did the wire's nice and neat.
good job but are the bulbs those mercury lights?
if so they won't heat up the area much?

to heat it up some you need them cheap made tungstone filliment 160 watt bulbs then leave them on all night it will keep the area from freezing. your electric bill will shoot sky high but that will be un frozen.

I thought of using incad for the heat but I decided to go CFL for the long life. There is a 4800w heater in there but think as another project I might actually run some hvac ducts as while heat is needed, circulation is also needed. In summer I could hook up a dehumidifier and blow dry air inside and the humid air would come out and eventually go through the dehumidifier as well.

I was weary about making such a big hole in a load bearing cinder block wall but those cinder blocks are like an inch thick (the actual cement portion) with 2 webs so pretty sure a couple holes wont do any harm.
