A doctor involved in an "on-again, off-again" relationship apparently tried to force her way into her boyfriend's home by sliding down the chimney, police said Tuesday. Her decomposing body was found there three days later.

Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac, 49, first tried to get into the house with a shovel, then climbed a ladder to the roof last Wednesday night, removed the chimney cap and slid feet first down the flue, Bakersfield police Sgt. Mary DeGeare said.

While she was trying to break in, the man she was pursuing escaped unnoticed from another exit "to avoid a confrontation," authorities said.

yep seen that on the news too.

sad thing is if he left knowing she was on the roof.
he could be guilty of not caring if the person on the roof died.

if he got out and left when she was on the ground and he did not
know she was on the roof then that is a different matter.

the police can arrest him though if it is proven that he was home
doing those 3 days it took for her to die in his chimney because he would have heard her in it.

now for the really sad thing. she was a doctor? what kind ? any doctor is a smart person and does not easlie think chimneys are open
slots to the house.
not even in the 1700's were they open slots to the house there is always a damper in them so the heat does not all go up the thing but
backs up in to the house, thus leaving the smoke to go up with a little heat loss.

so there is no way for a person to fit through the 3 inch wide slot of the damper.
NEVER HAS BEEN. only a magical santa claus can do it.

Wait... First she tried to dig her way in and then tried to slide down the chimney? I'd be planning an escape also if an ex was THAT crazy.

Think maybe she watched to many cartoons? I'm starting to think all doctors are somewhat loonie lol We defiantly have a loonie one in town though hes a good doctor and somewhat normal in public but stay away from everything he owns even if it seems utterly useless and broken... It's important/ highly valuable and if your any closer then 3 feet he looses his mind... Pack ratish, Mostly junk/garbage...

I deal a lot with doctors, and lot of them are actually as dumb as a brick. They might be very smart medically, but anything else, they have no clue about.
