Interesting... not sure whether or not this is a good move by Intel. Seems kinda random.

good now it might work? and not be so hard to get out if you don't want it.
but it seems they need to make one that will work with their up and coming faster cpu's and they might now include it with the mb's that use their cpu's.

Cable modem with AV? Sounds good to me as long as it doesn't slow things down lol Virus would never make it to your pc, One less background program to hog resources. I'm in if they do because I hate running background crap that nag's for updates daily even if it is somewhat important lol

Yeah would be good as long as there is plenty of administrative features to turn it on/off, update the definitions, backup, good notification when it blocks something etc. I could see this being pretty cool. I believe Sonicwalls can do this already. Never played with them much though.
