a few years ago about 4 i think you might remember me saying we got new chairs
and they feel good, B)

well an update is now due.

the sports theme chair is still in one piece.

this office steel and web back style chair is in several pieces.

the padding was no good about a year ago on both chairs.

the back on this one just fell off the other day. looked at it
and the bolts to hold it on the bottom of the seat are only
threaded for a quarter inch in length the rest of it is some sort
of round barrel type of clamp that has the same length of
the thickness of the piece of crap press board they made
the seat out of.

yes barrel clamp can you believe it? they go up the hole through
the seat use a nut on the top to tighten them down.
then the bottom of them are smashed like a rivet to clamp on the wood.

and thats what every one is leaning back on when they buy these office
chairs.

i must say though now that back fell off i turned the chair back wards
and am sitting in it that way.
and it is more comfortable then the way it was made.
why cause they have the front tilted up and padded around the edge
of the seat making it press up in to your legs when you sit in the chair
as it was made. and that cuts the blood to your legs and makes it hard
for you to walk after a half hour in the chair.
turning it around now make the back that tilts down the part under your legs
and it does not cut the blood from them now.

seems to me some chair designers need to have their thoughts changed in what makes a good chair.

and thats the polite thing i could say.
