I checked it out real quick, can't believe how fast it is at rendering, even faster then firefox. It's fun to see google trying to compete with M$ though. Notice how they've been releasing products, from office suites now a browser. Maybe GoogleOS?
(They do have their own OS actually but its for internal use only)

last notice i seen in another forum for this was that it is full of secuity holes. so make sure you have your protection software going with it if you use this one.

Its still in beta so ya of course its still gonna be full of security holes
Not using it full time anyways just checking it out
As far as competing with M$ well someone has to but the down side is sooner or later Google will be no better then M$ itself

only difference between google and m$ is m$ buys out the little guy where google either employ's them or they become students at the university for practically nothing. Only downside to google is they rip you off on privacy. They datamine the crap out of everything. I would never use any of there products exclusively unless i knew 1000% of the stuff i was using was clean.(yes i purposely added a xtra place holder.) When they first started talking about the android, i was like cool idea, then i thought about it more, heck, i dont want them screening my phonecalls and txtmsgs. Just like there google doc idea, awsome idea, but i will never put anything sensitive in there.
just my two cents worth, imho. And another browser to research and check for compliance.
