http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/se...p?EdpNo=1215768

check the utube video about the case.

i just got this i did cut my hand reguardless of what the host in the video said.

how? the stupid people that made the case forgot one little item?

on the 3.5 sliders they forgot to make the lock latch on the side of the clips to be angled, and left them squared off at a 90 degree angle. so after i put the usb box
in the small bay and slid it in to check the fit to the front of the case.

i could not get the dangblasted thing to slide out again.?

i pulled with all my power to get that to slide out. i pulled from the clips, I put my hand on the back of the clips and grabbed the cross bar between the two sliders and pulled on that so hard it bent the cross bar and snapped it out ? :banghead:

that is when my hand got cut that thing snapped out and i was pulling so hard my hand hit the inside edge of the case hard and fast, cutting my hand. :bsod:

that made me so mad i got the screwdriver out and started taking all the case apart as much as was held together by screws.

then i got the visegrip plyers out and was going to start popping the rivits.
when i seen the lock tab. it was hidden by the big shiny plate with the company's name on it. so i did not see it untill i took that plate off.
and after i had bent my nice new case all up.

i then got the long needle nose plyers and started pressing on that locking tab.
then i pulled on the front of the slider.
then back to the tab, then back to the slider's front.
working it back and forth like that until i got the thing to pop out.

first thing i did was get my razor blade knife out and slice those dang tabs in to a nice locking and UN locking angle tab. now it pulls out like they say in the video.

but it took me 3 hours of getting the case all ready to use. :(

all that then i put in my old win 98 biostar board with the isa slots on it.
and the new pent 2 333 hrz cpu i bought for 3 usd.'s and got the new 80 gb hd
in the case. then went to hook it up and found i have no usb or firewire or
audio prongs on that mother board? :banghead:

but now win98 works faster and i have more room for more songs :awesome:

this case though did some different the hd's are turned sideways.
so i needed to buy the rounded gray cables to get long enough ones.
and there is only to spaces for case fans. both are the 6 inch fans.

so after all that the case is too high to fit in the same desk? :banghead:

but it lookes nice in that high gloss black paint. :yo:
well the parts that ain't all bent up looks nice :roflmao2:

and i did not punch this case like i did the other one, so thats one good thing. :biglaugh:

lol I have this exact case for my server. Went through hell to put in the HDDs. They don't make cases like they used to. Had to make my own holes in the plastic sliders since they are all wrong and don't match up with standard HDDs, they also don't even fit properly so think I could only put one, I can't remember but I eventually managed.

yep the hd's are hard but i had no trouble with the hd's

they now use metal trays and there are holes on the bottom with
rubber grommet's to use as mounting holes for the hd's the holes line
up with them too.

but the wire's trying to get them long enough and wrapped around that little corner in there.
took some thinking on how to place them.
but it was easier now with both sides comming off so you can get to each hd's connections better. they must have improved the design somewhat since you bought it.? but they forgot that little bay slider's tabs. :(
