I've been looking for something like this.
It's a spyware AND virus program in one.
It uses CLAM anti virus.
There is also a beta, but it's kind of buggy.
The released one is fine & you can also install the Crawler bar, which then rates every site when you Google something.
I had it, took it out -might put it back in again.
It'll actually stop you from loading a bad site & ask you again.
You can choose this when you install it.
Auto updates & scheduled scans.
Plus you can temp disable it while installing something.
This would be a goody to install on a customers PC & tell them--"Look what I gave you for free!"
