I installed a program that gives you all the Vista icons, wallpaper, sounds bootscreens & such.

You can install only what you want.

The Vista bootscreen is crap. A black screen with a little globe that says VISTA_-woopie

I changed my bootscreen to the Enterprise shooting phasers & the progress bar says "ENGAGE"--LOL :biglaugh:

The "sidebar" is widgets, which wouldn't work right.

I can get widgets anywhere.

The sounds are very subdued. You can barely hear them.

I like the icons though.

Also, I read that it won't support certain older hardware.

And it costs like a gazzillion dollars for the system.

Yeah I have no plans to upgrade to it, at least not before I build a quantum computer or buy out Cray.
