I'm very new to this lovely community so greetings to all who read this post.

my asking and begging is for all who know any thing about mozilla firefox.

my 1st question is : where the hell is the BOOKMARKS --which is the favourites in IE--and the BOOKMARKS TOOLBAR FOLDER located on the C: where,where,where?!!!

I'm searching for them for about a week now and I've tossed the C: upside down and I've got snakeyes,nothing,zero.

my 2nd question is : I'm doomed with the Pain in the a$$ PEST TRAP and I've downloaded and activated SPYWARE DOCTOR and it can't start and Norton antivirus can't start either so help me to : get rid of all the spywares and malwares on my hard disk---such as netsworm and trojan.adclicker---

OR find the bookmarks and bookmarks toolbar folder to save them on another partition so I don't loose them. PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ HELP PLZZZZZZZZZZ.

The firefox bookmarks are in a single html file in your user profile. In my case:

C:Documents and Settings
yanApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfilesqrtben5m.default

The file is called bookmarks.html

The qrtben5m.default part will be different but its alwas a bunch of random chars and .default. The application data folder is hidden so you have to type it in the address bar.

I just did that Trend online scan & it missed 6 spyware entries, including Spy Sheriff,

Download a trial of CounterSpy which fixed my problems.

It found these things that were missed by Webroot & Trojan Hunter

Or go to Kaspersky for an online scan. You have to use Internet Explorer.

Yes, and bookmarks.html includes everything in your bookmarks toolbar folder as well. The bookmark manager has an export option if you’d rather do that though. Also, bookmarks are backed up daily in the bookmarkbackups folder as of version 1.5.

The location in Windows 95, 98, and ME isn’t the same as in 2000 and XP. The MozillaZine Knowledge Base has a wonderful article on the profile if you’re interested.

u know at about 11pm. with my local hours my PC crashed 'coz of the spywares and XP refused to start so when I went to a net cafe at about 1am. and openned my acount hear on iceteks in a one last shot to save what can be saved and found a replay to my post hear from "Red Squirrel" and the only thing I wanted to do is to know where did this angel who saved me come from!!!! special thanks to u really man or girl or whoever angel u r 'coz u know what's the great imp. of the bookmarks to me?!!!

I'm a dentist and right now I'm making a master degree in fixed prosthesis aka dental crown,bridges and dental implants so I have a huge No. of dental related sites and articles that I've gathered in the past 2 years so I can post them in my final research

so it will be a disaster if I had lost all of this articles and sites my supervisor professor will literally have me on breakfast and dinner every day for about ...let's say... another 3 yrs I'm imagining this happening right now
