kudzu -p: probes for devices and shows a list of what it detected.

lspci: shows PCI devices

ls [hit tab for various commands that start with ls] : other fun random information.

Is that a KDE thing? It doesn’t work in Ubuntu.

Surely you have some sort of GUI-based way to see this, right? In Ubuntu, i can just go to System→Administration→Device Manager.

OMG I did not realize I had TWO maxtor drives in there. Was sure it was all seagate. I will die in a house fire.
