Going to see a Nascar race in Michigan this weekend, will be my first time in the states, should be a fun trip, and long bus ride.
I have to get up at 4:00am to get on the bus though.
And my parents wont let me do an all nighter, since that would be way easier then actually trying to get up in the middle of the night like that.
Forum Registrations have temporarly been disabled since I dont want to come back tuesday to see a bunch of marketting crap on the boards.

haha sweet it turns out I will get to pull an all nighter, we'll watch a race at 11 to get to know some of the drivers since I never watched an entire nascar race before
And those last 4 hours, so we'll basicaly be thinking about leaving once the race is over.
So UO till 11, and maybe back on at 3 for a bit or something.
I'm trying to figure out a relogin script for the rezbot, then I'll go on to pk some noobs.

just give them my name.

I'm all packed and ready to go. Canadien cash in one pocket and US Cash in the other, brand new too, I gota admit american 20's smell nice when new.
We are leaving in 1 and a half hours.

Think they smell nice when they're new? Think about when they're used!!!! Actually, I read somewhere that a certain percentage of 1 dollar bills contains traces of cocaine....so don't smell the 1 dollar bills or you might become addicted!

To summarize the above article. Yes, as many as 4 out of 5 American bills carry trace amounts of cocaine. But that's mainly because cocaine is so fine that 1 contaminated bill can in turn contaminate thousands, and those can contaminate other bills, and so on and so forth. But the amounts of cocaine on the bills are so small you wouldn't even notice unless you counted money for a living.

I'm back, was fun, and I'm going to bed, I'll post pics tomorow after work.
But here's one I had to post now... things you only get to see in America. Sewer backup in a fancy motel and plenty of warnings about it too.
We woke up to that the morning of the 2nd race.

Well a wet floor warning for a lobby with 1 foot of water is quite a once in a life time thing to see.
But then again it was early in the morning so not everyone would notice the water and just go sit on the couch and drop their bags.
Was kind of funny though, I saw someone just put the sign then notice that part of the lobby all full of water. I'm guessing it's water from the pool since the pool was actually right in the higher end of the lobby. Was quite a nice motel.
we wanted to buy a oh henry bar to throw it in to see how many people think its poop, but could not find anywhere to buy one.
Once I get home I'll organize the pics and post them, wait till you see the track, its huge, and so many trailers and stuff in the middle.

In Canada you use the Oh Henry bar. In the US, you use a Babe Ruth bar
.

haha never heard of that bar before, but I'll be sure to remember next time.
Also, it is true that Americans dont use vinagar on fries, in fact, even mcdonalds did not have vinagar where the condiments are. I never bothered asking for a poutine, though I was hungry for one at the race then realize they probably dont sell those there.
My chicken fingers were good though.
Oh and one thing I noticed about the states is they are very patriotic. If you see a house without a US flag, its probably abandoned, or someone who's planing to move to iraq or something. Its nice to see, would be nice to see that type of patriotism here.

Actually, poutine rules, it may look gross if you never tasted it, but once you've tasted it, it actuially looks really good after.
But it depends where and who makes it though. I've had some poutines that taste terrible, like when they dont cook the fries well enough, or when the cheese is super chunky.
