The translator I'm using doesn't know what "gelese" means.
So I've got "Certainly, I gelese"

lesen = to read
gelese = past tense of 'lesen' EDIT: gelesen is past tense of lesen, gelese is past tense of read when used with 'I'
ich lese = I read ('read' as in 'reed')
ich gelese = I read ('read' as in 'red')

Perhaps you haven't gotten that far in your German language studies, but you'll find that adding 'ge' is pretty standard to past tense references.
Was hast du gesagt? = What did you say?

I only took 2 years. Last of which was 3 years ago. But and now that you mentioned the "ge" part I do remember that.

Get yourself some German penpals. I had a few after my last year of German and I'm certain I'd hardly recall any of it if it wasn't for having to converse with them.

French 4? We only had up to French III, and I think they got rid of that. (People are only required to have two foreign-language credits, so no one took it. Class is so much better with just three people!)

Yeah, my second year of German was held as a "zero hour" class before school officially started. We only had about 8 people total in the class, so it was really nice. I also had a good teacher, a woman from Germany, who gave a lot of interaction and had friend-teachers in Germany that our class would interact with as well.

What six languages/cultures? Classes like that can be cool, but just realize that you can't get a very good 'picture', so-to-speak, of a given culture in a short time - at least in a typical high-school class. Whatever cultures you get exposed to and remain interested in, it'd be a good idea to study their histories in order to put their current societies into context, and read their news services to get an idea about their local politics/culture, and perspectives on the international scene.

today i got this note thing saying they are going to have a college level french class starting next year too. i dunno if im gonna take it tho. but the 6 languages/cultures we get to learn about are french, german, spanish, italian, latin, and japanese. and i know i wouldnt be able to get a very big picture of what those cultures are like, but learning something about them would be fun. Latin sounds like it would be interesting.

You're already taking a Romantic language, so you may very well like Latin.

Yeah, that would make you hate a class. My bio teacher didn't do that. His tests weren't really easy, he just randomly placed extra credit throughout the test.

what pisses me off is people who give extra work over March break or Christmas break. The whole idea behind a break is a BREAK! not freaken load of work. Thankfully none of my teachers went hardcore on that.

I remember when I took bio in high school. I remember cheating pretty opening on the final exam, she just moved the guy I was cheating off of after a while. Didn't deduct and points or make me retake it or anything. It was kinda crazy like that.

Haha wow, you got lucky there.
I've never actually tried to cheat on any test though tough of it, but with my luck the teacher would be looking RIGHT at me when I'm looking at the other person's paper. My luck is just bad like that when it comes to doing something wrong.
