He's on my Iggy list. You'll notice that rather than discuss the original issue that spawned all the madness, he's redirected it into personal attacks and desperate nit-picking over stupid little things to make the issue less about his behavior and more about mine. You can't have a discussion with such people that achieves any reasoned closure because they will always find something new to rant and rave about. In getting drawn into his vortex of shameless prickishness (his behavior can't be defined as anything else, really), I made a mistake and now that I won't see the content of his posts, I'll avoid getting ensnared yet again.
Sorry Anarchy, you took something way personally from the beginning and made an ass out of yourself and an enemy who didn't want to be one, not that you probably even care since you think I'm just an arrogant, page-turning-thesaurus-based pseudo intellectual. You couldn't take the inoffensive recommendation that you tone down your graphic language. And when you thought you had some grand point (as in the 'Sound Recorder' thread), you blew up about nothing. Was it the fact that people started making harmless joke suggestions in your Sound Recorder thread that set your temper alight? You should get out of the habit of casually throwing fighting words at people from the security of your PC and save them only for when you're willing and able to put your money where your mouth is. Oh, but what's the point. From the look of things, you probably get into 'chat' fights and 'forum brawls' quite often; shaking your mighty 'fist of typing' as you construct insults and type bad names and getting massive amounts of self-satisfaction as you weave your ultimately self-defeating, pathetic attempts at rebuttal and redirection. All anyone must do is read through this little series of flames in this thread, and the 'Sound Recorder' thread to see what I mean. He damns himself, though he obviously doesn't think so.
The mods and admins didn't do their job so it kept going and going. I'm sure the only real lesson learned by anyone is that the kind of abusive name-calling and malicious posting Anarchy did is alright, or at least nothing will be done about it. And you guys can't say you haven't seen any of it, so don't claim ignorance. So, and I say this without the intent to offend or disrespect, grow a spine and actually start enforcing the ToS. There's no point wielding the power to warn and ban if you don't use it when it ought to be. You can't actually think his kind of behavior has a positive effect on the forum as a whole, can you?
Since the Report Post feature is broken, just read through the last few pages of this thread, and the 'Sound Recorder' thread to see exactly what abusive language I'm talking about. And have a look at the 'How To Tell If A Person Is Gay' thread to see an example of his graphic language (his posts in there are tame compared to the particular one he wrote in here that drew protests).
