The pot isn't big enough in the lotto center. Doesn't make me want to buy a ticket :(

Yeah when I did the 2005 thing I forgot to exclude the lottery account. :D Someone has to win it for a new jackpot to come in. But if I see that it takes way too long for us to get started I'll throw like 10000 ICs per account. But I want to avoid that and just keep the challenge going.

a good tip is stocks, stealing and stealing some more. the user "guest" DOES exist, and can be stolen from. ;) Just note that the enron stocks are based on that user so cash them before you steal from that member.

And as stocks, never forget to hit update before cashing or buying! I should put that in bold on the stock manager because I'm sure people will get caught with that. They only update when someone clicks that. (it's a database reason - too hard on the DB to update automaticly each page load)

When they're bought though, they are updated, but still should be updated after since the actual buying could impact them a bit.

How do stocks work? The higher the owner's IC's, the more they are?

Can we upload our own pictures for the cybervillage? I want to make a nice "evil" looking shop.

For most transactions, such as donations, stealing, buying etc they are kept in a log under that user ID. So if that user issues stock they go under that same ID, and the stock value takes the sum of the positive(received money) and negative(lost money) transactions since the date the stocks were issued then divides that to get a multiplyer, then the initial value of those stocks are multipled by that number. So in simple terms the more ICs the person has the higher the stocks. The green arrow indicates that the stocks are higher then the initial value (or cost, if purchased) and the red indicates they're cheaper.

Hey, did you create the "owning a store" part yet? 'Cause I just bought myself a balck market if you haven't noticed :P. Oh, by the way, how can I create the caption at the top of the page to explain my store?

Right at the bottom of the map there's options for that. You can change the name, prices, manufacture items etc..

I just sold you a black market WMD. :D

Thanks for the WMD. It's worth 2$ now. I might upgrade it later. First come, first served! I'm waiting for a good payout. Then I'll mass produce my......evil..... weapons

The cybervillage needs a loan shark. The owner lends them IC's and charges interest on the loan. Then, the borrower has to pay that back by a certain day, or the interest goes up. The money borrowed comes from the OWNER. Then owner then gets the IC's back and the interest charged when the borrower pays it back. It's hard to make money in the cybervillage. I can still always rob people :P

haha. yeah it's kind of expensive since you need to produce at least 10,000 items. I did not want to make it too easy. :D

I just fixed a minor bug in the stockmarket. Made the file 2 bytes bigger. It was a really minor bug, it had to do with the anchors when you update a stock. It would bring you to the wrong stock.

Did anyone notice anything wierd with the cybervillage? Like stuff missing?

I think we got hacked or something or it's a really bad bug.... I don't remember getting rid of all my items, or deleting one of the mall graphics...

Ya, when I use my items, they don't vanish. Then, one minute, ALL of my items were gone (I only had 2). But i was like WTF?! I figured you got rid of them or some kind of flag reset, thus making my items no longer active......funny bugs might be in the cybervillage. It's an outbreak! I need to make more IC's. I'm poor. I need to play some kind of game or something to make more ICs

Hmm yeah this ain't right. Since the only way you loose them is if you get caught. 0 stock items do disapear but as long as the stock flag is 1 or higher they should not disapear. If you notice anything else funny let me know.

haha I might have found the culpit. When you create a wmd it sets the stock to 0.

But I still think it's easier to blame it on hackers, and besides, that mall image that disapeared has nothing to do with this. :P

I'll fix that now.
