This Screen Shot I took earlier today while playing Unreal Tournament 2004. This is just to show exactly how gorgeous some of the graphics are. This picture you see here, its really neat. How I pulled it off, good timing I'd say. The explosion you see, was the enemy flying straight towards me with a flying spacecraft known as a manta. The big gun you see on the right, is me, seconds earlier firing a huge rocket at the guy coming towards me. I had it timed so perfectly that I pushed Print Screen JUST AS the rocket blew the spacecraft apart. What you didn't see was the spacecraft flew STRAIGHT UP in the air after the explosion. I think this background looks quite awesome. I will be keeping it on my desktop for awhile you can bet .

I have not gotten around to making myself a better winter/christmas one, so I used one from like 2 years ago. Too bad it's the bad reselution though, but the aspect ratio is good so the stretching is not so bad, just a bit pixelated, but the jpeg compression hides that.
Oh and don't mind the packet sniffer. It's for ummm, network diagnosing, yeah that's it...

Sure, the packet sniffer is for "justifiable purposes" . Anyways, about the windows firewall, don't you just right click and disable it (or hide it?). Windows firewall always comes back when you reboot though. If memory serves me right, it comes back on when you reboot EVEN after it has been shut off (I eradicated SP2, so I can't test my theories). You might need to go into the settings in control panel to turn off the taskbar icon as well.

windows firewall stays off lol but every time i boot i get that annoying icon saying theres no firewall but i found the setting for it so no more annoying pop up trying to tell me to use windows firewall ... probly safer with no firewall at all then with windows

Yeah I always disable that "security center" crap. It's the stupidest thing, especially for computer newbies. I get so many customers brining me their machine because it's full of popups, and it's all windows-related crap.

Yeah hit print screen then paste it in like photoshop or something and save it as a jpg.... don't use paint though, unless your version allows to save as jpg, since bmps are way too big to attach.
Oh and here's a Dell Poweredge 1800 server's default desktop. Not exactly my desktop, but it's a server I setted up today at work.

My curent one. Don't mind the lack of icons, I'm only a few days after a cleaninstall and still have tons of stuff to install, once I figure out the stupid M$ office 2003 activation crap.

This is my A64 box. Got win2k3 server running in VMware using up 300 or so megs of ram, a port scan going, and other stuff open, and yet I can surf the web as if nothing was using up resources. Really incredible how fast this cpu is, even with a 32 bit OS.

Believe it or not, it turned out I was trying to figure out how people make those wicked fractal type desktops but it sort of went picaso style and was not quite the result I aimed for but looked wicked so I continued on.

Hmmmm I used to have a dos program I made that would output a random tie-dye kind of pattern. You could choose random colors and random numbers and it would spread a bunch of shapes together and create weird patterns. I wish I had the old turing compilor for dos, then I could recompile it. Pretty sure I still have the source code.

Nice desktops. I'll have to post mine up when I get home. Actually I want to make a wallpaper with one of the pics I took on the trip so I'll post up the desktop with that wallpaper.
