it picks up at the last save point, whether you turn the program off right, or it crashes.
just don't kill the process, if you do then it aborts the workunit. it downloads a new one, and you start over at square one.

Yep, my first one finished today, working on another now. ;)

Do you know how the points are figured? Mine was over 300.

Not 100% sure how they calculate it, but all I know is that the better your PC the more points you get. For example, 512MB of ram will give you more points then if you have 16MB, same with hard disk space, if you allowcate 10 gigs (which it will never use) you get more points. I think they have an faq that goes more into details, on the forum. :)

Yep, won't hurt. It's done through their online settings. You need to login almost each click. :P

Some people have too much time on their hands! They should have known there was no way to get away with that!

Yep, unfortunatly. I don't get their IP or anything. Just if I did... I'd be sending an email to an address that starts with "abuse@" :D

Does that work, tried it once and ISP claimed the mail I got didn't go through them.

It depends, sometimes they don't have an abuse@ address. I usually check their site, but all the times I did it, I got one that started with abuse@.

some isps have more complex routing, and it's harder to find the actual isp.

I remember someone from china hacked into my server. That was quite a thing. They had like 10 central office Cisco's and main servers and they all had these weird names, I ended up finding the site but could not read anyhting. :P

That reminds me of when I reported shit4brains.org. They denied that they should remove it and said it was "freedom of speech", that's when it had that badly photoshoped picture of me on the home page. When I threatn the admin of another site that I'm doing something about it (I was 99% sure it was him, or that he was behind it) all of a sudden there was activity there, and registration was enable, and he was the first to sign up as his real username. I still wonder if it's him. He told me it was some guy called Alan, under the screen name gHOST but I never found anyone under that identity at any forums.

What they were doing was against the law (I had read something in the constitution about online harrasement).

Yet, the hosting company did not do nothing about it.

Realizing most sites have bandwidth limits, I fixed that pretty quick. Not sure if it was all my refreshing, or if it was that the host realized they should suspend it. Now it's back up. Don't really care no more, my picture got removed, and nothing on there directly refers to me anymore. Going there gives me good memories. Reminds me of when I first got into computers and made a website for the first time. :dosgonebad:
