the demographics of this board are quick to leave and move on, * the younger generations,

some die hards stick around and older farts like me. This board was alot more active when i first had joined years ago ( then I disapeared ) although I wasn't truly truly active, those who want to remember might remember at one time I had

CCCP Image

in my sig

now this board competes with facebook ( I don't bother but my girlfriend logs in near everyday )

this board competing with facebook, its declining demographic - its difficult to renew. You can 'merge' with like minded boards or hold the course with this one

btw, some time ago I believe this board had an 'adult' section as it was named 'anythingboard' am I correct in this?

TRUTH be told I'm on other boards, where members # in the 1,000's 60k+ at times, but no matter if it is 60K, 10K, 500, 100, you average about the same amount of 'active' members, meaning even on a board of 60,000 this board has as many active particpating members as the other

Were/are you a member of Jack and Booper's Chateau? There was an adults-only forum that you had to get a password from an admin to post in. I don't recall this one ever having that, though I remember back in the day LOTS of adult conversation... I guess mainly since most everyone except Tak and Red were 20+ years old.

board I moderates stats

Our members have made a total of 874,513 posts
We have 45,694 registered members
it has been around for over 4 years, alot of changes, and members are frequently 'banned' for nonparticpation. The board actually catches those who re reg or post with a banned i.p. and banns them again, better than a 'prun' IMO, as we haven't the same members re-reg'n

What's the point in banning someone who's been inactive for a while, and thereby preventing them from becoming active again? Seems kind of over-the-top authoritarian to me.

banning happens to members who login howerver aren't active (no posts for months) once banned they are able to rejoin the board, but not re register ( which compramizzes the whole banning process )
members are banned for the benifit of other members, and promote participation

This forum needs:
1. More Clueless and her hawt friends.

2. More Ninjas. I asked for an increase in the Ninja/Non-ninja poster ratio, but nothing was done. And for this, i blame communism and pre-calculus. which are basically the same thing.

Ha. Puppy love is cute. As for the ninja bit, I am a ninja. In fact, I'm a level 500 white ninja with incredible gear and lots of skills.

Yeah, but that's half the purpose - instill fear by reputation and I hardly have to fight.

Then that means you'll become fat and lazy and then your clothes won't fit anymore and you'll be confined to the couch. Fat Ninja.
