Hmmmm...well what if you stored lightning some how in a container of some sort, something made of metal? And then used it...because lightning travels at the speed of light, right?

lol...no...but I mean put it in a sort of container and build a machine that would use the lightning stored and surely would make the machine go at the speed of light... maybe

lightning is only electricity, you can store electricity, but i dont think you could actually store a lightning bolt, and if you could, i dont think you could use it to make you travel at the same speed it does

Well what possible way could we travel to the future? or to the past?
If any possible way....in my opinion time travel is possible...and just needs to be really thought about and studied etc.
I mean Stephen Hawking isn't just a normal person...he is a clever, intelligent, astonishing human being who has lived way longer than he was expected to live.
And Da Vinci had drawings of machines, time travel, hot air balloon, tanks etc.
He was also a clever man, but how did he get the exact thoughts of tanks and everything, was he just purely intelligent? Or was there more behind it?! Like time travel to the future...

Lol sorry, I get carried away, interesting stuff. B)

Or he's a man from our present time who got trapped in the past.

of course! he didnt think of those things himself! hes from our time, and he found a tear in the time space continual and jumped in, and couldnt get back! just like that Kate and Leopold movie. that is such a good movie. everyone should watch it. lol

of course I think time travel is possible, go very slow or go very fast. the issue of the paradox only applies to breaking the spead of light. this is so far theoretically impossible as the amount of energy squares itself the closer to the speed of light you are, I imagine it as this, No matter how big the sail, or small the boat, it will never travel faster than the wind pushing it.

of course light isn't pushing a vechicle in space, however a gas is, and this gas displacement will need to continuously need more energy as you will be going faster than the gas can displace you, only possible way to travel faster than light is to 'use' light as a jet uses air. or a car uses the road. technology must be developed to capture light and travel on it.

err can't sleep figired I would write some posts.

first off I just have to laugh at your comment at the first of this post
I find it's an interesting topic, and it's one of the few science related once that don't really interfeer with religion. greengrin.gif
After reading all the bickering about religion haha. Religion and science to me are the same. If there is a god he uses science to do his work. It doesn’t just happen  you could say he is the all knowing scientist. But I'm willing to admit what I don't know i can only believe.

Time travel is defiantly possible in my opinoin somehow or in some form I think its way more probable by projecting information through time rather than physical beings. Like it's stated earlier all that's needed to see time travel. Just looking at greater distances. Anything you see through a telescope is way in the past, but even our eyes are only seeing at the speed of light and that’s seeing into the past not traveling.

To slow down time you don't even have to go the speed of light either The relativity to speed with time all you have to do is travel fast for long period of time and you will have aged slower than someone on earth. The longer and faster you travel the less you’ll have aged. It's already been tested with jet pilots and a simple stopwatch one in the jet and a stopwatch on earth with the same time when the jet takes off but differ when it returns. these are only milli seconds to seconds.

If light and time are so relative I wonder does time actually go the speed of light? and how are we suppose to go faster then light with light ? Maybe Let’s say light goes 186,282.397 miles per second, or 670,616,629.384 miles per hour. (Or about one foot per nanosecond). so we have to figure a way to send or go that far before light can?

I like the wormhole and the Black hole theroy they may be the only way to go further distance in less time than what would be possible going the speed of light to cause time travel.
