Wow I wish mine was that kind of pain, since you know it only lasts for a bit, and you can still sit down without taking some prescribed pain killers... heck even with the pain killers I'm typing on my knees now. I'm just scared the whole thing gets infected or something, then things would be even worse. I'll find out friday if it's getting any when I go to the hospital again.

Yeah it's the worse pain I've ever felt and it's an "unclean" pain, unlike a bruise, or after you've exercised, where it just stays the same, and there's no actual wound so don't have to worry about touching it or getting something in it, etc. Right now it's basically a big hole in my butt (not that hole ) going to a "container" and they had to fill it with stuff, so I think that's what I'm feeling. Once the "container" part of it dries up and becomes dead skin it won't be as bad, hopefully it will get better overnight. It will still be unconfortable to have them put stuff in there every two days but at least it should stop hurting and I can maybe sit.

I took the rest of the week off though, and next week is my last, I kind of hate doing something like that but had to.

What lovely imagery as i feast upon this meal... lol jk. That sounds like some serious pain. If it makes you feel any better, i had an op done nearly 2 years ago now, and its still very painful. It's also in an area i'm not too accustomed to pain...
