I think I blinked twice, took another look, and added that page's IP address to my HOST file.

Do you use a HOST file?

Not really. I used to use it a lot to block ads, but now I just use adblock.

Do you ever worry that blocking ads hurts the websites you visit?

Nah.
The sites that I use alot generally offer a service that I either do pay for or plan on paying for (e.g. I used to go to allofmp3.com when they offered free albums, now I pay for songs there)

What's the most you'd pay for a cd-quality mp3?

I find that I prefer studio albums because most of the time the musicians aren't really all that good and the live stuff is lacking, that being said, when you find a band who has good live albums, I prefer the energy from those over studio albums.
