Wow, my system actually survived over an hour worth of disk related processing, and cpu intensive activity.

I still want my cup of poison though, since it's bound to be BSODed when I wake up tomorow. And windows NT really put's Death, in BSOD.

Yes he did. He "found a new forum". He didnt like the direction this place was taking (he never did tell us which direction that was though). He changed the thing under his name to say "done with the AF" and later in his sig said something like "Found a new forum". He never actually told us until he came back to check his PM's.

My PC freaken crashed again. This time I lost my whole F#@$ D drive.. over 100GB of data.. This is a freaken piss off, and I'm about ready to just end it all right here, I actually took out a knife and had it on my wrist until I realized it was a dumb idea... but there's just no hope at all anymore, this rediculous crashing will just keep haunting me. It started at work, now here... something is up... and it's too complicated to understand.

Computers are easy, just do some simple elimination. The amount of time you've spent bitching and re-imaging, you could have actually done some real troubleshooting and probably figured this out by now.

Oh, and it's pretty obvious why Sintekk left? Christ, he practically spelled it out for you guys. The direction of the forum, as in, the types of members that are here now.

The average age has gone from probably the middle to late 20's when it first started to like the pre-teens now.

That's what I did, I just ordered a mobo, cpu, hdd and some ram, I figured, there's no way parts like a cd-rom or floppy drive could cause such problems, so did not bother. Freaky enough, the price came up to 666... there's some kind of curse going on here. seriously. first my work PC starts acting up, none of us in the IT department has a clue wtf is going on, now my home PC starts acting up the exact same way... at least I ordered a firewall, since I'm posting from it right now, screw using it as a firewall for now...

Ah crap, forgot to order a case though... once my machine is up then I can just rebuild a new PC with my curent parts and troubleshoot it from there. It's much easier to troubleshoot a machine that's not my main box.

Oh, and even the younger members from before were different than the younger members here now.

Before the younger guys were actually some of the better members of the forum, namely Tak and Red and Lillbill. Now, they're mostly kind of funny in an annoying kind of way.

You'd be freaking out too if the PC just randomly reboots and you loose your whole C partition, and then randomly the D decides to crap out too... I just lost over 100GB worth of data, the other 20GB or so was backed up in time...
