You're right, tak. Red would not be able to tolerate our heat and humidity.
You can't acclimate (sp?) a penguin!
I need to get IE Spell loaded on here again.

Nah I think I'd do fine. As long as my cpu would be running at a decent temp is all that matters. Now if the A/C breaks down....

I'm the other way.
I would rather be cold than hot. Besides, I don't like showing too much skin. During winter, I can wear lots of clothing!
I love long sleeves and pants.

Yep!
We'll have to keep him outside all day and show him what a Southern summer is all about!
You'll have a tan. (Which would come quickly for you I would imagine
)

Only thing I hate is being too hot and sweating. Like being too hot in jeans and a sweatshirt and in a situation where I can't change (ex: school). That's no fun!
When I worked to clean the school, one of the policies was no shorts. We had to wear jeans with steal toe boots. It was an old 3 story school. Man was it hot in there. The server room was nice and cold though. But too bad I could not work in there much. It was mostly in class rooms cleaning floors and stuff.

I can't tan, unless I get a sun burn. But yeah, I'd get a nice big sun burn.
Got one on my arms once it was so bad I was thinking it might of been cancerous as it had all these weird bubbles, but skin cancer usually takes a few years to start having effects and so far so good....

Red heads are fair skinned and get sunburned easily.

haha that's true, actually. It's why I can't tan, but just burn. I once had this bad sunburn on my back, and I had a ton of spf30 lotion on!

I have fair skin also and just burn. Maybe we can try some of that instant tanning lotion.

Oh....
I was wanting to dye my hair red, but I guess I would look a bit odd. Although I don't get much sun, I don't have pale skin. That would be really cool if I could have pale skin!
I think that looks cool.

I'm not a redhead, but I use a light strawberry hair color. I have a lot of gray which ages a woman but distinguishes a man!
Tak, you might try doing a highlight on your hair. A lot of men and women are doing that now.

I tired dying my hari a couple of times in high school. Twice I tried to dye it a deep red, the first time it came out with some kind of strawberry highlights, the second time it came out purple. It was kinda funny though, with the purple hair a few people took to calling me "grape ape"
Nowadays though I don't mess with my hair, I just let it grow out. Cause I know there's quite a few girls out there who would kill to have hair like mine and I figure that works to my advantage, though I've yet to see the proof

Goodmorning, everyone!
Manadren,
That thing in your avatar is from Dragon Ball Z, isn't it? My brother watches it, which means I usually see a bit of it, and I thought I saw something similar.

Wow! I didn't know that either. It must be a good feeling to know your Web site is getting these hits.

Sure is!
So all my affiliating with other sites is helping a lot. If you notice most of my recent articles get a few hundred hits in about a day, but then it dies down.
Our "competition" get's thousands, and they use it against me, but I don't really care about them much. We are becoming bigger and better, and they are staying the same. We'll get to their point without even noticing. The ud team will be a bit more tough, but if I can get a supplier special on a few hundred motherboard/cpu/ram combos I can build a cluster and go from there.

Hello, how is everyone today?
I think I just saw Red in my camellia bush! The bluebirds are dive bombing a squirrel, he is too close to their nesting box!

It was storming a bit this morning, but it's not anymore.
It will probably get hot later on, but right now it's not very hot.
I hope we have more storms later!

We need some rain here as things are beginning to dry out. Atlanta gets most of the rain. I don't like all the bad lightning we usually get though!

We've had a mild summer compared to what we usually have. I'm looking forward to fall also. Got the fireplace ready to be enclosed...had it checked and tested and it looks great burning.

Man was that a close one. Gee, all I wanted was a bit of nuts and eggs. (squirrel version of bacon and eggs).
I've seen chipmunks scaring birds away, it was in a cornered area and I almost had a bird right in the head.
That would of hurt. I think it was snowbirds or something, I can't remember. They were pretty small.
We've been having crappy weather again. No rain though, so that's a plus. But today felt like a nice winter day. A typical nice winter day here is about -10.
It was probably like +10 though, but in the summer it always feels colder than if it was winter. If it was +10 in winter, we'd be boiling of heat, and most likely strugling to get the snow off the A/C unit. It's weird how weather works. I suppose it goes by what we are used to.
Next week my mom won't be able to bring me to school, so I'll have to bike, I just hope it does not rain.
