Ok right now I have the "on" button for Repet, Shuf, EQ, and the Playlist button now I need a pressed state and a off button for them then I can get somewere.

Are you fuckin' shittin' me? Can't you make those with the code or something? There is NOT ENOUGH PIXELS IN THOSE BUTTONS TO DO ANYTHING without screwing them up.

thats it pryo im' sic'in the langauge police after ya.

but the code just needs images to place there in place of the buttons when they are pressed all you need to do if your making the buttons is change the color to a darker color of the same normal color.

as in photo shop open the image and place a 75 % gray layer over the normat button and save it as a different name like pressed button.

the code then changes the image to that when the normal image is pressed.

nothing need in way of changing the image's shape.

now stop the foul language i would also like it if you even went as far as to go back through this thread and re edit your posts to take out all the foul language.
this could also be read by kids in school then. and i don't mean teenagers.

some elementry schools are starting the kids online in forums to get them to learn about computers and they don't want foul langauge to be seen in the schools so they are blocking help forums and sites that have bad language in and on them.

ryan and red have tried hard to get helpful articles on the site and don't need it to be blocked because of someones insistance on using foul langauge.

stop with the off normal action comments. that kind of action can get ryan in lots of trouble witht he feds.

what are you trying to do get ryans site removed?

come on now how can you be making a skin to help promote iceteks and make comments like that which can get iceteks melted down by the feds.

Considering how I designed the skin, I'm PRETTY sure I know how to make a pressed in button. What I'm saying is, the are not enough pixels to do something that looks good, or atleast follow suit of the other buttons inset positions. The buttons he is speaking of are merely a few letters and lines, TINY ONES, about 2-3 pixels in width MAX!

Maybe only way would be to just darken/lighten them or something. but yeah it's hard to manupulate something that small and make it look good.

well that is small? what are they the x in the corner? just make it a transperent one on the click. that is easy to do and gets the same effect of having the button pressed.

but i do understand your anger in as it has been since july or august and the skin is no where near done.

but if he had a computer crash that is understandable

but i thought he new how to make the modern skins and in some of his posts he says he has learned more on how to do it?

but is only sharing a little of that with us come on share more of it mikwithestick.

shoot you have all the images you can make an old winamp classic skin and also modify that one with the theme engine to work with media monkey before christmas.
