err found some mistakes:
step 12 and 14, "alot" should be "a lot"
step 12 dont should be don't
step 12 I have "yout he" instead of "you the"
step 11 I say "Add A user..." , make that "Add a user"

Picky stuff, but my cousin made me realize that my spelling is important. Sorry for being so lax on the corrections.

Looks like #12 is a winner. At the end I say "let me hack away at..." Should be "let em hack away."

Damn, I thought I spelled g00d 2!

fixed. Let me know if you spot anything else. it's already gone to all the tech sites in my list, but still not on slashdot and warp2search yet That's where all the traffic will come from if it makes it.

I fixed the spelling myself, I didn't want you to have to fix my mistakes

#8_ Partitioning. This can be fun if you have windows installed already and you are trying to dual boot. If so, please read up on dual booting (article to come soon), especially with which OS you are trying to do it with. I found it easiest to partition before hand with any partitioning tool (fdisk, Partition Magic, Disk Druid), and then use mandrakes partition tool to just set the Filesystem type as an EXT3 and labels and whatnot. If Mandrake is going to be your only OS on that hard drive, just create a new partition with "/" mounted as root and make a swap partition. With the swap partition, you have to choose the partition labeled "swap" and set it to be fixed size that is double your physical ram.  If everything is cool, the install should progress.

It should be

instead of

;)

What do you mean by third position?

Submitting is good. It's hard to tell who gets it and who does not, I always get a bunch of errors and a bunch of returned mail. It always takes a few days so it's posted everywhere because some sites get way more news to post then us and have to randomly pick the ones to post. If it makes it on [H] then we're inluck. :)

By the way you got a reply at ars that might be worth checking.

Some more comments...
http://keptech.net/index.php?page=news&news_id=1303

Maybe taka can check it over for ya. I'm not the best in spelling either, and I'm suprised no one ever said that about my articles (or I never spotted it).

Did you use a speel chequer? Maybe give that a try and send/post it back. Actually it will be easier if I send you the current html files so I don't need to reformat it again. So let me know if you want to fix it and I'll send you them.

More hits will come as more people see it. My php one took about 3 days to get it's peak. It was at like 1 hit per second for a whole day, it was insane. It does not apear that it got posted on [H] yet and that's where most of the traffic came for my php one. Also there's warp2search which should send about 1000 hits but I'll let you decide if you want to fix it or not.

Heck, maybe it will make it on slashdot! Yesterday I made like 1 buck more then usual on advertising. I got a whooping 13 clicks instead of like 3. I wonder how those stats would look like if it made it on slashdot!

Yep, I make money per click on the google ads. It's weird how the system works, it's actually quite interesting, it does not pay NN per click, it's a more complex equation based on CTR (click trough rate), so if I have 10 clicks and 100 page impressions that is big bucks, but if I have 10 hits and 1000000 page impressions it's very low. I get about 800 page impressions per day (as in, pages with ads on them, so the forum and articles).

And here are the html documents:

Yeah not bad eh? I find the "how to" type articles are much more popular then reviews (my last 2 articles). Because most other tech sites have more reviews then anything, while we are mostly targetted to how-to's and reviews. But I want to make more reviews though, which is why I will receive a free copy of halo... at least I think so, have not heard of MS since I replied to confirm when they asked. From what I heard they are actually the best company for this. So far so good since they are the only ones that actually replied to my request email!
