Was that skin selector always at the bottom of the page?

It's always been there.
Every copy of 2.0.x has that in that spot. ALWAYS

Like I said, I'll wait till a later time when I can get software that is actually skinable without spending hours just to find a small element. I'm working on getting the skin importer to work so I can put a premade skin meanwhile.
If you want an idea of how hard it is to find stuff, look at the css sheet in the source code. To make things worse I can't edit this in a file - only in the admin cp (so I can't use the find feature and I loose my place every time I hit submit).

That sucks. Oh well. No big deal. I like it the way it is anyway.

Well I figured out the problem and simply never told nobody. As you can see I went with the most popular vote: orange and blue. Well more orange but when I mixied both 50/50 it did not look right so figured I'd make text and buttons blue and the rest orange.

Well from the response in the happy new year thread noone likes this one so forest theme can be "take 2".

You haven't had responses from that many people, so you may find out that someone does actually like it. At the risk of sounding ungrateful for all the work you've put into this, I have to admit that I personally would prefer a "take 2".

Oi! What's with the orange and blue? I'm starting to have bad high school flashbacks
[my high school just happened to have orange and blue as the school colors - wouldnt've been my first choice]
yeah, and by some fluke I miss this thread completely until now - somewhat after the fact. My vote went to forest. Personally I kinda liked the old skin, but some nice reens wouldn't be too bad. Just as long as you stick to the forest greens, and away from the puke ones

I think the brightest orange is a bit piercing to the eyes, maybe you could make the shade of orange a bit lighter.

I like the new colours, but they look a bit out of place with the pieces of old skin.
I don’t really like the new topic buttons though.
Oh, I hope you don’t mind, but I made a modification to the CSS. #logostrip no longer needs a defined height. The defined height was causing your logo to overflow #logostrip’s boundaries since it was taller.
I notice you moved the CSS to an external stylesheet! I think IPB should do that by default. There’s a lot of CSS there.
