Lol, yeah, our teacher made us pronounce it right when we read it freshman year. Stupid Shakespeare...just trying to make things rhyme better.

Hmm, I always took it to be a joke on the hyperbole so common in all love stories, perhaps someone who knows more about Shakespeare can clarify for us?
