I'm with ya Stasi. I thought it was very entertaining and was much more humorous than I expected. If one has the ability to laugh at Bush at all, I think they would like the movie. You definitely have to take his work with a grain of salt and understand what he's doing and not what you think he's trying to do. I particularly like all the cameos of the Bush buddies before they were interviewed. That's just great intro. material (and use of extra footage), it really gives you the feeling that you're seeing the real people in the movie and not the politicians.
Yeah you could definitely look at it both ways. In the movie itself, that clip is part of a larger section about how much time Bush spent on vacation for the first part of his term (prior to 9/11) so it was kind of a crack at the pres., but I guess it depends on what you want out of your president.Yeah, you know the one scene from the commercials where Bush is on the golf course, talking to reporters and says something about fighting terrorism... then 'Now watch this drive' he says. That honestly make me like bush more, it makes him human, a jokster, someone I would hang out with. Though it seems most think it is a crack at the president. It seems some want to feel guilty
