Mozilla 1.4 RC3 is out now.

I'll check it out. In fact, I'm going to go to a customer's house soon and their browser is mozilla so when I reinstall it I'll check out the new one.

You mean all your customers don't use Internet Explorer? That's a relief!

Chances are you would be very happy with RC3. You can look at the list of known problems in the release notes.

Tak, maybe you would know this, when I open mozilla on his computer (he had already installed it) I get netscape, but it says mozilla and has the mozilla icon, but the rest of the browser is netscape, how do you fix that? I know Mozilla is based on netscape, but I don't want it to BE netscape! Or is it the default skin?

(This is like oldschool netscape look we are talking about, not the gecko one).

But it does not really matter since he's brining it to the shop, I could not figure out the problem, too many at once, I suspect a virus that flashed the bios or something.

Maybe the shortcut is just pointing to Netscape. I would try to launch Mozilla from the actual .exe file -- not a shortcut.

No I checked! It goes to mozilla.exe, and in the title bar it says mozilla, it uses the mozilla download manager, but the look of it is netscape, and at some places it's the netscape Icon. Maybe it's just a skin though, but who would want that skin? It's like netscape 1.0 or something lol.

Yeah, it's probably the skin then... You can go to VIEW> Apply Theme to see if Mozilla is using something other than Modern or Classic. (I HATE Classic. It's so ugly!

Ha, I said I would not be around as much because of summer school, but I did not take the fact that I have to get up like 5 hours earlyer and that it lasts only 3 hours (if you count going and coming back). So that makes me here more.

Of course, once we get into the more complicated stuff, I'll be spending most days doing home work and studying my butt off. Today I have a bit of homework, but nothing that can kill, I'll do them after I eat lunch.
