wow there hasn't been much activity here as of late, too bad i've been hellaciously busy, i would definitely come here more often.
I'm playing the role of Mr. De Pinna in our high school's production of "You Can't Take it With You" a comedy by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman
farcical really, i'm really excited though, my character has the serious aura, but i get to wear a toga and light fireworks and matches on stage and wear an eyepatch!v

I used to be in the theater club, I did the lighting and help with other technical related stuff. Got electrocuted... never let someone wire something for you, especially when your life depends on the grounding cable because it does not help if it's plugged into the live.

i built the set for the last play (well i was the shop foreman), i didn't like that a whole ton, but it was fun.
this play should be a blast though.....in addition to a lot of hard work.....

Wow I almost got high off solder tonight. But nothing beats industrial windex if you really want a buzz. I know this from accidental experience.

I havent been able to post for a week because my computer won't connect to the internet. I think I have some viruses that are messing things up. Well, I know I have some viruses, but I didn't think they would mess with my connectivity.

Anyway, while we're not on the subject, with 2 days to march, what'll the new sig theme be?

Wow march came fast...
Hmm good question. I'll put a post in.
gee and I'm only at like a bit under 200,000 page views this month. I may need to whip out another article soon so I can beat the record again, since last month was crap I think I finished with a bit over 200,000. I was on a hot streak for like 3-4 months continuously breaking records.

Actually, I'm not. My computer lady installed AVG on my computer and it found 34 viruses, but it was only able to remove 31. There are still three left, and i'm not sure if one of those three ruined my connectivity, but I have my suspicions. Then today, one of my daughters was using the word processor and a screen came up that said that Windows had shut itself off in order to protect itself from damage. That certainly doesn't sound good.

And you didn't do anything about them? Now it's probably too late you're better off doing a clean install.

HOLY CRAP ON A STICK. 34 viruses? 34 different viruses? I agree with Red, man, your computer is certainly messed up. If you have a list of the viruses, we can probably determine for certain if something screwy happened.

I bet you have viruses on there that are infected with another virus. I always laugh my head off when I find that on a computer.
"Warning the file [a virus file name].exe is infected with [another virus name] do you wish to clean or delete this file?"
In that case I choose delete and don't bother with the clean.

Yeah, that sounds bad, reminds me, no offense bookworm, of my dad's computer when he tries to do maintenance on the computer. He would end up with Virus scanners taking up half of the system resources and still have 3 virus' infecting the computer at any given time. And it would keep getting bad until reinstall time, of course if he'd cared to listen to those that understand computers....
Which brings me to another thought that crossed my mind... The saying, "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" is only true because adults are completely unwilling to learn as children do. Unwilling to take instruction in that way, unwilling to stick with something they don't get immediately, and basically very impatient and un-cooperative unless they are in charge.
