a spammer got caught in my trap here. I need to figure out how to set the post in the mod queue though, since I hate blocking people if I never even seen the message. Robots do make mistakes.

heh, It would be kinda cool if you could hookup some kind of bayesian filter to the spamkill system

Admins and Mods would have a little "mark as spam" button next to each post hread

I joke now, but watch someone make something like this in the next few years. It's just a matter of time until spammers get bad enough, and developers get creative enough to make it work efficiently.

Well I did mean for that bit about a bayesian filter forum spamkill system a to be taken bit lightheartedly - equating forum software to email clients. But given the right circumstances, I suppose it's not entirely impractical. However I do not think this board falls into those circumstances at the moment.

Caught another spammer. Woo! This time it had like 100 points so it can't be a false positive. But I wish I could figure out IPB 2.0's posting method so I could make the post go in moderation but oh well.

I just thought I'd give a shout out to anyone who's looking for a super boring forum to liven up a little bit. It's the Fergus Falls Journal Forums and I post there quite a bit just cause it's my home town, but it's really struggling to get people to participate. They have like 217 members, but no one posts anything, ever. I don't really know why anyone would care, but it's basically a bunch of conservatives that I like to give shite to and get a chuckle out of now and then. Again, just for anyone interested, I'm not trying to recruit or anything, I just feel bad cause I'm pretty much the only regular poster there and I feel like I'm... I don't know? Scaring people away or something. So feel free.

That's Clara Bow in "Poisoned Paradise". As for what she's holding, here's the whole picture. Truthfully, I can't say for certain what it is as I've never seen this film (it has yet to be restored and re-released).
