That is neat. I don't know anyone from that early anymore. Either they moved away, died (Yes, I am serious.), or changed so much and turned into someone I wouldn't want to know.

That is sad. I never had someone I know die, so I don't know how it feels. There's only my grandpa, but I was so young I did not really know him. Suposely he was a great person and very funny. I wish I would of got to know him.

This is going to suck for Magic, even accessing the admin CP has SQL errors. They look a bit different (yeah, I actually bother to read those sometimes )

I think I know how to restore topics now, but I had Magic tried something and it did not work, so I want to wait till it happends here so I can full around, I'm sure there's an easy way, even with an old backup, as I don't think the actual topic goes boom, just the actual link to it, so putting back that link points back to the topic as it was last time it was posted in.

That's how it worked when the cool hangout place was gone...

I'm still wondering if all these problems have anything to do with someone trying to hack into the server. My win98 server got hit pretty often, but with live monitoring and complete I-can't-believe-its-not-hardware IP blocking attempts did not go far.

That is sad.  I never had someone I know die, so I don't know how it feels.  There's only my grandpa, but I was so young I did not really know him.  Suposely he was a great person and very funny.  I wish I would of got to know him.

My grandfather on my mother's side died of cancer when I was four or something. I don't remember him. My mother said he wanted to take me fishing one day, but he never got to. I don't think I would be much fun for him since he was the hunter, fisherman, hiking kind of guy. I am not into those sort of things at all.

As for my other grandfather (Which technically isn't my grandfather, but I consider him to be and love him like one) is about to die. I mean, I don't mean to sound odd or anything, but that's the truth. Due to some family feuds, I don't get to see him much. He is hanging on by a thread. He even forgot who I was recently. That really hurt me, but I just have to accept it. He couldn't help it after all.

My real grandfather on my father's side is someone I never knew because he left my grandmother when my father was born. He died in France years ago I think. What a bastard.

All three of my grandmothers are alive. (I consider my "fake" grandfather's wife as my grandmother -- although she is really my great aunt.) I have nothing to do with my mother's mother though. She is not exactly nice. I never see my father's mother because she lives in Germany. Even if I could see her, she doesn't know English.

That's fine. I consider myself lucky as there was no divoreces or anything like that in my family, My grandpa on my mother's side is pretty heathy, in fact he almost lost his arm in the mine months ago, I just admire medical technology, they fixed it and it's in full working order, it had got smashed by a machine. My 3 grandmas are alive, the 3rd is my great grandma on my mom's side and she is pretty healthy too, we got worried since she got sick, but she got around it, it was just one of those temporarly sickness, it was a cold or something.

EDIT: Well, I wasn't about to reach my 10000th post, but I would have in a day or two.

I'm sure we will at least be able to revert to the last backup, mine was jun the 10th, and Magic probably has a more recent one. But what scares me is the time out in php, with the slowness of the server, that database does not upload in time. We'd have to cut it in a gazillion parts and do it manually.

I tried to restore it just for fun 3 times on our unofficial test forum ( http://www.iceteks.com/test/ )

My parents should separate. They fight so much, and it would be better for them. Not to mention, it would be better for me.

I admire how far the medical world has gotten too. It seems like they can do almost anything now. Although, that isn't the case.

AF is back! Magic just upgraded to the latest version.

I want to upgrade too but from what I read I'll have to redo the whole skin again!

The quotes looked messed up, but that might have been because of Magic's quote mod.
