Moonstone's are a pain because of the trammel/felucca thing so those are more complex than they seem too.
Bummer. :'(
So.... 13 100 luck items. 137 tailoring with a tally. Only one got enhanced. Ouch.
Seems I have better luck enhancing things if I made em.

the enhancement chances SUCK. Especially with my smith, scrolled to 140 real smithing and +60ASH. 90% of stuff goes poof, even shitty stuff. Like when I tried to enhance some shitty gloves with dull copper just to get high phys resist, poof.

Thanks Plastic, but thats not what I'm talking about. The list I know of is an itemized account of every item in the game. Tells how many of each is around on the whole server.

Ahh, well I've never see a page with that info on it. But since it took me some searching last time I wanted to find that info page, I figured I'd post it. It's still useful for other things like faction info.

Also keep in mind that most of the artifacts (or all of them?) are in the museum. So for things like Lord Oak's Wings, the 1 it shows in the list is actually the one sitting in the museum.

There's 3:
1 in the museum
1 is player owned
1 is probably in my bag for testing purposes

So... does having more skill effect the type of quest you can attain? Does it matter if I'm wearing a +skill tally when I get the quest? Does that effect anything besides crafting exceptionals?

Not yet, but I plan on adding in a skill percentage to the newest bod quest system revamp. Having a higher skill in that craft type will be a modifier that impacts your chances of getting a better quest.

I'm not yet certain if it will be based on artificial skill or only actual skill. After all, that would be half the purpose of getting a power scroll (To not only get better chances of exceptional and crafted goods but also to get better bod quests).

We'll for sure want to find a way to make it fair for everyone and nullify skill over 120, or something.
When I redo property system though I want to add a feature to make +skill items allow to go over the cap, so that stuff like Ash will actually make the skill go higher, and not just fake it and have to hard code the tool into all the systems. The way those were made is very horrible.

I'm gonna quit UO until shit gets sorted out.
Seriously, mining is fucked. All I get is bronze & copper. The goddamn copper elems reflect everything, killing me. I got a paragon one that I couldn't kill, nothing I had could hurt it fast enough. it even dispelled all my summons.
The goddamn bloodoath thing is always insta-death.
Summoned liches just fuck around and waste my time. Casting bloodoath on creatures that aren't even attacking them.
Quest rewards are fucked up. Esp. for tink etc.
Arty chances are fucked up, with them all being tied together.
Then Anarchy spazzing out in [c like some retarded child with a megaphone. Seriously dude, grow up. Its just fucking pvp, stop griefing and whining and making everyone listen to your crybaby rage.
GTA: VC and D2:LoD ftw.
Later.

Please do not do this before the tinkering items are modified so that characters with tinkering and no smithing can actually do the tinker quests. ATM I have one character with 120 tinkering that cannot do tinkering quests because there are no Items I have a chance to fail at that go into a Quality assurance bag. Its very annoying and lame. I created an alternate tinkerer that is just at 100 tinkering to simply do the quests with because he can do them still. It's kind of sad when you can have TOO much skill to do crafting quests.

All that is in the works. In fact I'm debating on moving materials to the core, so that ANY item can be assigned a material. Makes more sense that way. Since if it was that way then the bod quest could accept any item. Right now items like chairs do not actually have a material, its just a hue thats assigned on craft, other then that, no way of telling which material is being crafted with. It's a horrible system. Bill Gates at the age of 13 while on illegal drugs did better then that.

I agree with jr on a few points.
#1. Mining is a waste of time. It would be much much much more convenient it it were the old style where a val vein is always a val vein. I know... it was changed for a reason. But its a pain in the ass and a point of frustration among almost all the players.
#2. Blood Oath. In pvp its a great spell. In pvm its a cheap death. My arrow is flying midair and I see the spell effect, then OooOOooOOoo. Its unavoidable at times. Makes things VERY frustrating, and mostly the reason why no one does the undead champ anymore. You can wither yourself to death on a BO.
#3. He is right about the summoned liches. They don't do shit. Just run away and cast a stupid spell every blue moon. Good waste of 10 daemon bones.
#4. I missed Anarchy's temper tantrum, but I can imagine how it went. Its annoying to hear that stuff in public chat, especially if you are doing something that requires you to watch for display messages. Perhaps have a punishment for people who abuse chat, such as jail or loss of chat use.
Its nothing that I am going to cry over, but I agree with jr on this stuff.

Death and Squirrel, I really appreciate the work you guys put into this shard. And I know you guys mean well and want to make this shard the best you can, but you really can't keep making things so hard/tedious. Something that may be easy in your eyes may still be fun, and it's really not bad for the game. What's more, those things you consider easy could be quite hard for someone else.
Sometimes you can get caught up in the concept of balance, but most of the time most people really don't care much. Then there's the idea of an "economy" that I always thought was funny. Who cares, it is just a game. Gold will always be worth at least something, it doesn't really matter if it's worth more/less. I think if you guys really want to make this shard successful to its maximum potential, you just have to let some things go.

1) We know about this one and there's a ticket opened for it already. I think I explained earlier why mining sucks balls because of the layout of the condition. The ticket's on page one now (w00t) so hopefully we'll get to that shortly (This also deals with wood veins). The elemental changes (As in, being given their abilities like damage reflecting) were changed to match OSI so those aren't budging.
2) I'm convincing red to put in a blood oath delay so the particle effect will give you some warning. Blood oath chances were reduced already a looong time ago (Was WAY worse before) so this will probably settle it down a bit. It's not going to vanish from PVM as it's built into necromancer AI and lore (If it's an undead necromancer, it should act like an undead necromancer). If you're withering yourself to death at a champ, you should probably stop when you realize you've been oathed. Talismans and paladins helping you remove that nasty spell is key. Also, yes that formula for resist spells will be getting applied to reduce the duration so that's something to be thankful for.
3) We can take a look at the summoned lich. By design they are meant to stand back and fire away but maybe it's not necessarily useful in that case so we can look into changing them up a smiggen so they don't run away like scared little forest elves.
4) I'd really rather not have to enforce public chat nanny 101. When I get angry it's not pretty. It usually involves a meteorite in the base of the council of mages. Although, I sympathize with players not wanting to hear that shit so if it all boils down to it being a real bother, we can start handing out chat bans like hotcakes (For the one being an uncontrolable ass). Or jail, I got a lovely cell prepared with a yellowing skeleton statue. I think the hue tinge I use adds a certain tone that screams "Don't get sent here".

I am not saying you guys are doing a bad job. Thanks for not taking offense to my post.
On the blood oath thing, I am VERY fast at going into peace mode. On my nostromo pad my war/peace is set to a very large button. Its the BO that happens while the arrow is in mid flight that frustrates the hell out of me. There is no way to stop it. Pretty much the same thing for players that have any spell macros set up. If I got BO'd before my z0rak macro(exp+fs+eo+lightning), then it would be black and white for me.
