Red are you really an on old man, because they are the only people I've ever heard say pop when talking about drinks.
Well according to Angel I'm super old. I'm old fashioned grampa living in an old tree about to snap on me.

No, but pop is the real way of saying what you americans call "soda". :nana:

To me a coke is only the cola made by Coca-Cola. A Pepsi also is a cola, as well as RC and Dr. Pepper, but I would never call a Mountain Dew a cola and certainly not a coke.

I have a book about language called Mother Tongue: English & How It Got That Way, and the chapter called Varieties of English starts "Whether you call a long cylindrical sandwich a hero, a submarine,a hoagy, a torpedo, a garibaldi, a poor boy, or any of at least a half dozen other names tells us something about where you come from." I would normally call it a sub sandwich. What do other people here call it?

We should come up with a new, cool name for soda.

Or just go all out with the advertising.

Like, whenever you're at a restaurant and you want a Coke say, "Yes, I'd like to have the ribeye, well done, and an Anythingforums.com..."

That actually would be cool to slip stuff in like that and when people say "what was that".......just play it cool and say like...."what, I'm not sure what you are referring to, can we stay on *cough* "The Af" *cough* track please.

My dog looks at the sky when I take her out at night. It's really neat. I wonder what she thinks when she does it. She just stares up at it and it looks really cool because she's a Siberian husky.......and she just looks cool.

Hey, I have a question.
I downloaded "Motorcycle Diaries" from here and it came in a folder with the avi movie and an extra file called "The.Motorcycle.Diaries.2004.DVDRip.XviD.avi.sub" how do I get those subtitles into my avi movie so I can watch it with them on the screen?
Help Please!!
