Haha yeah not a bad idea. What will be cool though is that it will be harder to get rid of items, since when you scrap it, instead of it just being deleted, it actually goes in the mall's inventory, depending on what mall you scrap it at, and as a mall owner it will be possible to choose what percentage to give.

Once I impliment houses it will be possible to store items in a house, so stuff like rare items could be safely put there and not accidentally used in battle, and lost. Hmm I have time to impliment that before new years I might go for it...

I think I'll release it tonight since I can't wait to use it with everyone else. :D

There's slight tweaking required but overall things are working, and it's only once in production that the rest of the bugs (if any) will be found.

Yeah the service charge can be changed from the bank owner, but I decided to make the default bank's service suck allot to encourage the use of other banks when there are more.

Right now you can only build a mall or bank, but yes you can choose the building and I added the ones you made. It will be a while before some of us can afford to buy land though. :D I did not want to make it too easy. News posting gives 10ICs per post though on the home page. ;)

Hey Red, think I might have found a bug. I am not able to transfer IC's to my new bank account. Might just be me. Just a heads up, might need to be double-checked ;)

Do you have enough money though to cover the service charge? Though that's the default error for the transfer() function I should make an error for the bank transfer process so it's clearer. I tested the transfering alot so that's why I find it odd that it's not working... once I have enough money I can open an account and test it too. LOL

Oh and yes I did save them as PNGs. I just optimized all the PNGs so I'll be reuploading them. the cybervillage loads pretty slow over sympatico, compared to over my 100mbps network.

Yeah the service charge to transfer is 100... man I did not realize I set it THAT high though. LOL

Not to worry one of us will open a bank sooner or later once we have enough money to buy land.

In the near future land value will be dynamic. Not sure what it will be based on though, I can just make it so a random land will randomly goes up or down in price. Sort of like the old stock market.

Should have to pay mortgage on the land. Or an ownership charge for it. As well, there should be some kind of restriction where someone can only own a max of 3-5 lots of land (or something similar)

Yeah I may set those restrictions if ever it gets out of hand, like if we get an inflation and someone buys like all the lots. I could make the map bigger in the future but it will also use more server resources. Though most of the resources are probably client side then server side since the browser has to load all the small images and the table etc... if you try it in IE, it can't even handle it LOL it just craps out.

Though the best investment will be stocks, once more people issue stocks it will go well. Since if you buy stocks, then that person makes money, so the stocks go up. But when people cash them it cost that person money so they go down so when stocks are high it's good to cash them before someone cashes theirs and makes the stocks go down. Though the more we progress the less impact small transactions it will have.
