here look on the left side, first collum and click the PC- no OS link.
you could have a nice little athlon system for very little.

My supplier is probably the cheapest way to go, but it still ends up being more then I can afford for a system.  At least right now.  I'm slowly saving up.  About 3 months of saving bought me a stick of 512MB of ram so at least I got a 1/4 of it done.  Ram, CPU, Mobo and HDD is the most expensive parts.  Actually, even the case is expensive, but it will be the last thing I buy since I can still run the server caseless meanwhile.
But now I'm more looking into getting a distro that will work on my 486.  Only trick is that it has to have a text install (and interface) and has to detect ISA network cards.  Once those two things work, then I'm off to having a server, speed/disk space is not really an issue at the moment since all I need it for is to play around in a real life environment.  (dual booting this machine does not cut it)
