can you not make the greater dragon spawn in illshenar because paragon greater dragons have between 5000 to 10000 hp and thats ALOT

There's a lot of things to consider about greater dragons.

When we add them in, do we want them to spawn under the normal circumstances (Would be a chance to spawn for every dragon)? This would make them easier to find and tame but could lead to overpowering an area as well as overpowering rikktor's champ.

I think what we may end up doing is adding them on a singular spawner with more odds of getting a regular dragon as opposed to a greater dragon. That way they aren't just grouping in numbers to ambush the crap out of you. I find that when they spawn with the regular dragons you can quickly turn a good hunting spot into a place that nobody would dare to venture.

They will probably spawn in ilshenar as people still hunt and tame in ilshenar. It's also pretty spread open to allow that kind of thing. They will be restricted to single locations such as ancient wyrms in order to be able to concentrate on 1 greater dragon instead of 12.

Nobody's saying you have to

. Anything in ilshenar can spawn as a paragon so if they exist in ilshenar, a paragon will eventually spawn.

to sum it all up, Ancient Wyrms are horrible as pets. They require that you feed them non stop, they turn into little kittens when you tame them, AND they have the benefit of taking up half of the goddamn screen so NO ONE can see what the fuck is going on.

It would be so much more beneficial for you to use either: WW, Dragon and Mare combo, Mare/Rune Beetle combo, Hiryu, Cuhidse, 5 Ostards, 5 Jackals, or even 5 hell hounds. Even 5 Ice Worms would be tougher than that stupid AW.

They're going to be replaced by greater dragons for numerous reasons:

-Too many different versions of them
-Scaling existing tames is too difficult
-Their frames are way too big and take up too much screen space
-OSI changed their attributes which messes things up when tamed
-Numerous unsuccessful attempts to scale them
-Great Dragons need to be put into the game anyways + they are very closely related

Pretty much any change or update to them would be futile due to the current faults.
