Yeah that's my mom painting the ceiling. My sister is the one painting inside that cabinet.

Tomorrow I think the counter is going in, so that will make a big difference. This weekend I replaced all the plugs and switches to white "decora" style ones. MUCH better. There's a 3 way circuit I had issues with so tomorrow I'll bring some crocodile clips and trial/error fix it. :p The switch styles are not always the same so it's not always obvious which wire is the traveler wire.

Also got zapped today lol. There was this circuit I was fixing up, and I was double checking to see if this one wire I cut could come out completly or if I had to feed it, but it actually fed another circuit that got removed so it was live. I was too lazy to run around for 15 minutes trying to find my multimeter (tools get scattered EVERYWHERE and are never in same place, it's annoying) so I just tapped it with my finger. Yep, it was live.

Try not to electrocute yourself, k?

I couldn't tell 100% for sure if those were two different people in the two pictures or not. Though looking again it seems fairly obvious, shrug.

Getting zapped is fun. I still wonder what 240 volts feels like, but I'm too chicken to test it for myself, I'll wait till it happens by accident. :P

If you're unlucky I'd imagine it feels like dying. :o:

The difference between 120V and 240V is huge. 120V is like a shaky bzzt feeling (almost funny), only dangerous if you are continually shocked for minutes. 240V is like someone literally hitting you HARD. A couple of seconds holding on to 240V and you would be out.
